Yasunari Hirai (born 1990) is the top professional marathon swimmer from Japan.

He participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China and is an emerging presence on the professional marathon swimming circuit. He also placed fourth in the 10 km race and third in the 5 km race at the 2012 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships.
