noun- AKOWS or 사단법인 한국바다수영협회 (Association of Korea Open Water Swimming) organizes three open water swimming competitions in Busan and Seoul in South Korea every year under the leadership of founder Mr. Kim.

AKOWS Events

The Janggwanbae Sea Swim (국토해양부장관배 바다수영대회) is sponsored by the Transport and Maritime Affairs and includes a 3.2 km swim and a team relay of 4 x 200m legs.

The National Marine Sports Festival (전국해양스포츠제전) is held in mid-August and includes a 3.2 km swim, a 5 km swim and a 1 km team relay of 4 x 250m legs.

The National Ocean Swim Hyeophoejangbae (협회장배전국바다수영대회) is a 3.2 km swim and a team relay of 4 x 200m legs.
