Aaron Eger is the Founder and Program Director of the Kelp Forest Alliance, a global community of practice and a freely available global database on restoration projects where people can upload new information about their own projects. He was the lead author on the first kelp restoration guidebook, and the first global review and analysis of kelp forest restoration across 300 years of practice. He is based in Sydney, Australia at the University of New South Wales where his work spans marine ecology, economics, science communication and practice.
