Daniel Katzir is a professional marathon swimmer from Israel.
Open Water Swimming Career[edit]
- He qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympics 10 km marathon swim, but he was not approved to participate in the 2008 Olympics by his national federation.
- He competed in the FINA 10KM Marathon Swimming World Cup where he were ranked 39th.
- He competed on the LEN open water swimming circuit.
- He competed in the 10 km King and Queen of the Sea competition in Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
- On 29 August 2006, he placed 25th in the 10 km race at the FINA World Swimming Championships in Napoli, Italy in 2 hours 21 minutes 12 seconds.
- On 26 January 2007, he placed 9th in the FINA World Cup 10 km race in Santos, Brazil in 2 hours 6 minutes 13 seconds.
- On 17 March 2007, he finished 27th in the 10 km race at the FINA World Swimming Championships in Melbourne, Australia in 1 hour 57 minutes 37 seconds.
- On 25 August 2007, he finished 13th in the 10 km race at the FINA World Cup in Vienna, Italy in 1 hour 56 minutes 53 minutes.
- On 13 October 2007, he finished 8th in the 15 km Sumidero Canyon Swimming Marathon in Sumidero, Mexico in 3 hours 16 minutes 36 seconds.
- On 20 October 2007, he finished 18th in the 10 km race at the FINA World Cup in Cancun, Mexico in 2 hours 57 seconds.
- On 9 February 2008, he finished 14th in the 15 km Maratón Acuática Internacional Ciudad de Rosario in Argentina in 2 hours 17 minutes 27 seconds.
- On 16 February 2008, he finished 7th in the 15 km Las Patagones-Viedma in Argentina in 2 hours 43 minutes 8 seconds.
- On 3 May 2008, he finished 41st at the FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships 10 km race in Sevilla, Spain in 1 hour 59 minutes 4 seconds.
- On 5 May 2008, he finished 9th in the 25 km race at the FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships in Sevilla, Spain in 5 hours 6 minutes 45 seconds.
- On 1 February 2009, he finished 7th in the 57 km Maratón Acuático Rio Coronda in Argentina in 8 hours 55 minutes 33 seconds.
- On 7 February 2009, he finished 18th in the 15 km Maratón Acuática Internacional Ciudad de Rosario in 2 hours 14 minutes 1 second.
- On 14 February 2009, he finished 15th in the 15 km Las Patagones-Viedma in Argentina in 3 hours 5 minutes 55 seconds.
- On 24 July 2011, he finished 8th in the 10 km race at the FINA World Cup in Lac St-Jean, Quebec, Canada in 2 hours 23 minutes 16 seconds.
