International Swimming Marathon of Toroneos Gulf


The International Swimming Marathon of Toroneos Gulf (or the ΔΙΕΘΝΗΣ ΚΟΛΥΜΒΗΤΙΚΟΣ ΔΙΑΠΛΟΥΣ ΤΟΡΩΝΑΙΟΥ ΚΟΛΠΟΥ or International Swimming Across of Toroneos Gulf or Toroneos Gulf Crossing) has been held in Nikiti, Greece since 1971. Also called the Toroneos Gulf Swim, it is 26 km marathon swim from Kalithea, Kassandra to Nikiti, Sithonia in Halkidiki, and is held on the 3rd weekend of July every year. It is one of the World's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
