Kaoru Yamanaka

Kaoru Yamanaka is an open water swimmer from Tokyo, Japan. She participated in the 2012 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships in the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre in Perth, and finished second in the Japan National Open Water Swimming Championships in 2013 and third in the 2014 Japan Open Water Swimming Championships in Tateyama. She also won the 2013 Japan International Masters Open Water Swim in Yumigahama Beach in Shizuoka, Japan and the Kumejima Open Water Swim (沖縄久米島大会) in Kumejima, Okinawa, Japan on 19 October 2013. She finished third in the 4 km race at the 2013 Rei e Rainha do Mar (King and Queen of the Sea) on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 12 December 2013. She competed at the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup race in Hong Kong in October 2014.
