Kate Adventure Swim is a cross-country series of swims by Kate Greene who won the initial Adventure Swim Contest organized by Jamie Patrick.

Her adventure will be documented here.

The Kate Adventure Swim consists of many individual swims. She plans to swim her way across the United States by doing an open water swim in every American state between Tennessee on the east coast and California on the west coast.

A naturally inquisitive science and technology journalist, Greene will do solo swims between 1-3 miles in in each state as she drives across the United States. She will start with Percy Priest Lake near Nashville and end in Aquatic Park in San Francisco Bay. She will do swims in the states of Alabama (Wheeler Lake), Mississippi (Sardis Lake), Arkansas (Beaver Lake), Missouri, Kansas (Clinton Lake and Kanopolis Lake]]), Colorado (Boulder Reservoir and Grand Lake), Utah (Great Salt Lake), Arizona (Lake Pleasant), and California (Salton Sea) and several other swims in the other states along the way.
