Mackenzie Miller of Honolulu, Hawaii is a swimming writer and a pool and open water swimmer.
Open Water Swimming Highlights
- She became the youngest swimmer to successfully cross the Molokai Channel (Kaiwi Channel) in September 2009 at the age of 19. She crossed the Channel of Bones 30 years after her father, Michael Miller, crossed the same 26-mile (42 km) channel between the islands of Molokai and Oahu in Hawaii. She finished in 14 hours 45 minutes, landing on Sandy Beach on Oahu.
- She completed the 3-mile Seal Beach Rough Water Swim in Seal Beach, California on 22 June 2019.
- On 9 October 2019, she completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 9 hours 32 minutes 32 seconds.
