Matej Kozubek

Matej Kozubek (born 11 May 1996) is a 26-year-old pool and Olympic open water swimmer from the Czech Republic.
Open Water Swimming Highlights[edit]
- On 27 June 2022, he finished 32nd in the 5 km open water swim at the 2022 FINA World Championships in Lake Lupa, Hungary at the age of 26.
- He won the 2019 LEN Open Water Cup series.
- He finished 10th at the LEN Open Water Cup in Eilat, Israel 10 km marathon swim
- He finished 7th in the 25 km marathon swim at the 2016 European Open Water Championships in Hoorn, Netherlands
- He finished 2nd in the 2016 19 km International Jarak-Šabac Marathon Swim (Plivački maraton Jarak-Šabac) in 2 hour 41 minutes
- He finished 36th in the 5 km open water swim at the 2017 FINA World Swimming Championships in Lake Balaton, Hungary on 15 July.
- He competed in the 10 km and 25 km marathon swims at the 2017 FINA World Swimming Championships in Lake Balaton, Hungary on 18 July.
- He competed in the World University Games 10 km marathon swim in Taipei, Taiwan on 27 August 2017.
- He finished 4th in the 6 km LEN Cup Copenhagen on 31 August 2019 at the age of 23.
- He finished 3rd in the 6 km LEN Cup Copenhagen on 31 August 2019 in 1:08:25 at the age of 22.
- He finished 12th in the 10 km FINA Olympic Marathon Swim Qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Setúbal Bay, Portugal on 20 June 2021 in 2:02:56.80 at the age of 25 in order to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Marathon Swim.
- On 13 March 2021, he finished 21st in the 10 km in 1:52:32.00 in the FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series in Qatar at the age of 24.
- On 15 February 2020, he finished 68th in the 10 km in 1:56:08.60 in the FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series in Qatar at the age of 23.
- On 7 September 2019, he finished the 10 km in 1:57:26.00 at the FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series in Taiwan at the age of 23.
- On 19 July 2019, he finished 11th in the 25 km 4:54:27.50 in the 18th FINA World Championships in South Korea at the age of 23.
- On 16 July 2019, he finished 16th in the 10 km in 1:48:19.10 in the 18th FINA World Championships in South Korea at the age of 23.
- On 13 July 2019, he finished 4th in the 5 km in 53:33.60 at the 18th FINA World Championships in South Korea at the age of 23.
- On 5 August 2021, he finished 24th in the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo Bay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
