Mazen Aziz

Mazen Mohamed Aziz (Mazen Metwaly, born 14 March 1990 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) is a world-class marathon swimmer from Egypt who is currently training at Southern Illinois University under Coach Rick Walker. He has won a FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix event and qualified for the Olympic 10km Marathon Swim at the 2012 London Olympics. He has logged over 850 hours as a airline pilot.

- He was on the winning 2018 Trans Tahoe Relay team, the Sunnyside Sinners that was awarded the 1976 Cup together with captain Chad La Tourette, Allison Arnold, Catherine Breed, Drew Cosgarea, and Bryan Offutt.
- He participated in the TOC Kaiwi Channel Relay race on 28 August 2019 across the 42 km Molokai Channel between the Hawaiian islands of Molokai and Oahu.
