Negros Island

Negros Island is an island of the Philippines located in the Visayas. It is the fourth largest island in the country, with a land area of 13,309.6 square km.

Open Water Swimming

Ingemar Patiño Macarine at the age of 38 was the first person to swim 11 km from Negros Island (Munting Paraiso Resort, Bulak, Dauin) to Apo Island in the Philippines' Tañon Strait on 24 April 2016 in 3 hours 8 minutes with Isidro Alampay and Alvin Alampay as his escort pilots.
