Silvia Dalotto is an inductee (Honor Swimmer of the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in the Class of 2005
Silvia Dalotto-Marcó (born in Paraná, Argentina) is a 49-year-old open water swimmer from Argentina who was inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in 2005 as an Honor Swimmer. The Argentine native served on the Board of Directors of the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame prior to organizational structural changes in 2015 and is a race official with FINA.
Open Water Swimming Career
- Dalotto was the International Marathon Swimming Association (IMSA) world champion in 1990 after winning the Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe - Coronda.
- Dalotto finished 3rd in the 36 km Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli on 5 July 1990 in 8 hours 24 minutes 37 seconds.
- Dalotto finished 7th in the 36 km Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli on 6 July 1991 in 8 hours 22 minutes 37 seconds.
- Dalotto finished 3rd in the 36 km Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli on 5 July 1992 in 7 hours 30 minutes 9 seconds.
- Dalotto finished 3rd in the Travesía Bahía de Todos los Santos in Brazil in 1990.

- On 10 August 1992, she finished 5th in the Sylvan Lake World Series Marathon Swim in Alberta, Canada.
Honors
- She was the 2007 recipient of the Irving Davids-Captain Roger Wheeler Memorial Award, an award given by the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
- Upon completion of her marathon swimming career, Dalotto received many awards and honors from the Argentine Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee.
- She became a FINA Open Water Official, judging at the FINA Open Water World Championships in Barcelona and other FINA World Cup races.
- She wrote Historia de la Academia Olímpica Argentina, Una experiencia inolvidable (History of the Argentine Olympic Academy, An unforgettable experience) in 2020.
