Francisco "Siscu" Pons is a handler and kayaker for open water swimmers who escorted Margarita Llorens Bagur on her marathon swims across the Menorca Channel (Canal de Menorca), including her 73 km 37-hour crossing attempt between Ibiza and Javea in the Spanish Islas Baleares and on 28 July 2018, he escorted Tita Llorens on a 90 km swim between the Spanish mainland and Ibiza across the Canal de Ibiza in 36 hours 16 minutes.


Pons is the Secretary of the Menorca Channel Swimming Association.
