Stuart Hinde is a 54-year-old British ice swimmer and an Ice Ironman from Leeds, England.

Ice Swimming Career Highlights

  • he completed an ice mile swim on 2 March 2014 in 4.60°C water + 2.00°C air for 1.10 miles in 33 minutes 58 seconds in the UK.
  • he completed in the 1 km ice swimming race at the 2016 Big Chill Swim at the Low Wood Bay Marina, Windermere, England in 6.4ºC water.
  • On 30 January 2016, he completed an Ice Kilometer at the International Ice Swimming Championships in Wild Water, Armagh, Ireland in 19 minutes 35 seconds in 4.5°C water and -8.0°C air temperature. *On 20 February 2016, he completed an Ice Kilometer at the IISA Great Britain IK Championships in Andark Lake, Southampton, England in 20 minutes 24 seconds in 5.0°C water and 0.0°C air temperature.
  • On 16 January 2016, he completed a 804m chill swim at the Parliament Hill Lido, England in 3.0°C water and 4.0°C air temperature in 16 minutes 13 seconds.
  • On 20 January 2016, he completed an Ice Kilometer in 4.2°C water and 4.0°C air temperature breaststroke in 23 minutes 48 seconds.
  • On 30 January 2016, he completed an Ice Kilometer in Wild Water, Armagh, Ireland in 4.5°C water and -8.0°C air in 19 minutes 35 seconds.

Triathlon Career

He completed two full Ironman triathlons to become an Ice Ironman.
