1° Trophy Ksamil Island
The 1° Trophy Ksamil Island open water swimming event offers 2 km, 4 km and 6 km races on 2 May 2015. It is organized by the AOWS (Albania Open Water Swimming), an open water swimming association founded on 24 June 2014 by Simona Bertino.

A.O.W.S. was born from the passion for the swimming and the sea. For us, swimming in open water is synonymous with freedom and energy. Swimming wave after wave this sport gives us the gift of inner strength. The objective is to reach the mainland by sharing the same strength and the same passion with other people who, like us , think that swimming discover the most beautiful landscapes that nature offer us is synonymous with life.
A.O.W.S. nasce dalla passione per Il nuoto e per Il mare. Per noi Il nuoto in acque libere è sinonimo di libertà ed energia. Nuotando onda dopo onda questo sport ci fa dono di una maggiore forza interiore. L'obiettivo è di raggiungere la terra ferma condividendo la stessa forza e la stessa passione con altre persone che, come noi,pensano che scoprire nuotando i paesaggi più belli che la natura ci offre sia sinonimo di vita.
