4ForBlue

4ForBlue is a team of four open water swimming women from Turkey with a 4-year plan to swim different channel swims over a 4-year period. Blue stands for the Aegean Sea.
Channel Swims
On 9 July 2015, 4ForBlue swam across the English Channel with the sponsorship of TeknoSA in 17 hours 52 minutes escorted by pilot Lance Oram on the Sea Satin.
Members
- Gunisigi Geren Cansizoglu (30): She lives partly in Izmir Turkey and in Arizona, United States. Gunisigi is a Turkish handcrafts artist. She has been swimming since 18 years old and currently is a member of Karsiyaka Masters Swimming Club. Also a triathlete, she finished second in her age group at the Half Ironman in Alanya Turkey.
- Sinem Tuzer (42): She is a swimmer since childhood, an engineer, and a mother of 2 children. She currently swims with Galatasaray Masters Club. She finished first at both the Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swim and Hellespont Swim.
- Seda Kansuk (43): She started swimming at the age of 40 when she took her 2 kids to swim class. She is a pharmacist and runs a pharmacy in Izmir with her husband. She swims with the 9 Eylul University Master Swimming Club.
- Sadiye Kuş (42): She started swimming at the age of 40 with the goal of attending Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swim. She is a dermatologist, married and mother of 2 children. She is a member of Han Batur Master Swimming Club
