Graeme Lowe's Open Water Swimming Highlights

He achieved the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
He has served as a support swimmer and crew for swimmers such as Adrian Sarchet's circumnavigation swim around Jersey ("Round Jersey") on 28 June 2014.
On 10 July 2011, he completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel in 13 hours 35 minutes from England to France.
In June 2011, he completed a crossing from Jersey to France in 7 hours 43 minutes.
In 2010, he completed the Round Jersey circumnavigation swim in 10 hours 17 minutes.
On 23 June 2012, he completed a 45.9 km circumnavigation swim at the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 8 hours 33 minutes.
On 25 August 2013, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel in 11 hours 40 minutes from Santa Catalina Island to the Palos Verdes Peninsula on the Southern California mainland.
On 22 July 2015, he completed a 35 km crossing of the North Channel in 12 hours 27 minutes from Donaghadee in Northern Ireland to Killantringan Lighthouse in Portpatrick, Scotland at the age of 50.
He crewed for 59-year-old Sally Minty-Gravett MBE on her 36 hours 28 minute two-way crossing of the English Channel in August 2016.
On 5 August 2012, he completed the 26.4 km Lake Zurich Marathon Swim in Switzerland in 9 hours 35 minutes at the age of 47.

Jersey Swimming Club Polar Bear

Lowe participated in the Jersey Swimming Club Polar Bear relay team that swam an unprecedented stretch of water from Saint-Malo to Jersey in the English Channel on 7 July 2014 in 18 hours 9 minutes. The relay consists of Ian Jones, Wendy Trehiou, Nick Dotter, Graeme Lowe, David le Clercq and Neil Faudemer and was called the La Grande Nag gie (The big swim) and was skippered by Mathew Clarke. The charity crossing was performed on behalf of 3 Jersey charities: Macmillan Jersey, Brighter Futures, and Channel island air search.

Ice Swimming Highlights

he completed in the 1 km ice swimming race at the 2016 Big Chill Swim at the Low Wood Bay Marina, Windermere, England in 6.4ºC water.
he achieved the Frosted Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming on 3 February 2018.
On 3 February 2018, he completed an Ice Mile in Lough Dan, Ireland in 4.40°C water and 3.2°C air temperature in 36 minutes 10 seconds.
