The Bred Bank Charity Swim (or the BRED Bank Masterbathers International Open Water Charity Swim 0 is a 1 km and 2.5 km ocean swim to be held on 23 May 2015 in Vanuatu. In 2016, the plans are to add a 5 km swim.
With the formation of the Vanuatu Swimming Federation, the BRED Bank Masterbathers International Open Water Charity Swim will raise funds to help build a swimming pool for the 2017 Pacific Mini Games and develop the sport of swimming in Vanuatu.
Organisation
The Port Vila Masterbathers Swimming Club, a masters swimming and open water swimming team in Port Vila, Vanuatu, is organising and hosting the BRED Bank Masterbathers International Open Water Charity Swim under the direction of Ivan Oswald, President of the Port Vila Masterbathers.
