Brownbanded Moon Jelly
From Openwaterpedia
noun - Brownbanded Moon Jellyfish is a cold-water species of jellyfish most commonly found in the Northern Pacific Ocean and Arctic Ocean, but can sometimes be found in nearby temperate seas. They inhabit coastal and open ocean waters. The brownbanded moon jellyfish tends to be translucent to off-white in color with a brown edge around its bell, which differentiates it from other species of moon jellyfish. It can grow up to twelve inches in diameter and since they are not known for their length, it is not commonly reported on. Their food sources include larval crustaceans called decapods.
