Cape Ōma

Cape Ōma is the northernmost point of the island of Honshu in Japan. It is located within the borders of the town of Ōma, Aomori on the northern Shimokita Peninsula, and is part of the Shimokita Hantō Quasi-National Park.

The Cape Ōma Route is a crossing of the Tsugaru Channel that starts on Cape Ōma on Honshu's Aomori Prefecture with the aim to finish in Hokkaido.

Liz Fry (USA) completed a Tsugaru Channel crossing on 11 September 2016 from Honshu to Hokkaido in Japan in 15 hours 48 minutes at the age of 57 years 10 months 14 days, taking the Cape Ōma Route.
