Claire Patchan

Claire Patchan (née Claire Thompson), born 15 March 1989, is an American pool and open water swimmer from Florida. She has a twin sister who is also an open water swimmer, Christine Thompson.
Open Water Swimming Highlights
- She placed 16th in the Crippen Cup in Florida held on 13 April 2014 at the age of 25.
- She participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China when she DNF'ed the 25 km marathon swim on 23 July 2011 at the age of 22.
- She competed in the FINA Marathon Swimming World Cup in Brazil 10 km race, finishing in 2:22:33.22 at the age of 22 on 29 January 2012.
- She placed 6th at the 2012 FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup race in Santos, Brazil.
