Clean Half Extreme Marathon Swim

The Clean Half Extreme Marathon Swim includes a solo race and a relay competition of 15 km in Hong Kong that is organized by Open Water Asia. It is one of the world's most creative marathon swimming competitions and is ranked among the Top 50 Open Water Swims In Asia and is one of the World's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
Doug Woodring, its race director, created the concept of a Carbon-neutral Relay and yak swimmers.
During the race, the swimmers will encounter the Wall, one of the few body surfing sections found in an open water swim race in Asia. The Wall is an 800m section of rock wall on the Stanley Peninsula where swimmers can virtually ride the waves downwind as they swim.
Its complementary race is the Cold Half, The Five, and the Cold Standard also held in Hong Kong.
It also includes the 1.5 km Cold Plunge, starting in 2017.
