David Harvey

David Harvey is an American escort pilot for the Catalina Channel Swimming Federation.

Piloting Highlights

• He escorted Melissa Berkay in her butterfly crossing of the Catalina Channel in August 2016.
• In October 2017, he and his crew helped save a swimmer in the Pacific Ocean and was awarded the Lifesaving Medal by the Los Angeles Port Police.
• On 26 August 2019, he escorted Antonio Argüelles Díaz González in a 64.6 km two-way crossing of the Catalina Channel from the Southern California mainland to Santa Catalina Island back to the Southern California mainland.
