Dennis Schutt is the captain of Bodacious and an escort pilot in the Catalina Channel. He escorted Hank Wise across the Catalina Channel from the California mainland to Santa Catalina Island in June 2015 in 8 hours 7 minutes on one of the fastest Catalina Channel crossings in history.
