Dmitri Petrov is a Russian open water swimmer from St. Petersburg.
Open Water Swimming Highlights
- On 15 September 2021, he completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 15 hours 58 minutes with Reg and Ray Brickell as escort pilots.
- In June 2021, he completed a 42 km crossing of the Molokai Channel from Molokai to Oahu in 21 hours 20 minutes.
- On 15 August 2019, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 14 hours 50 minutes 25 seconds at the age of 42.
- He completed the 2015 25 km Kotlin Race in St. Petersburg, Russia. He swam from St. Petersburg in the Gulf of Finland and finished in the port city of Kronstadt on Kotlin Island on 17 July 2015 in 9 hours 59 minutes 17 seconds.
- He completed the 2014 Kotlin Race in St. Petersburg, Russia. He completed a relay swim on 8 July 2014 in 9 hours 23 minutes 15 seconds together with Maxim Maltsev and Aleksey Gavrilov.
