Färjestaden is a locality situated in Mörbylånga Municipality, Kalmar County, Sweden with 5,018 inhabitants in 2010. It is located in the southern part on the island of Öland and is named after the ferries that used to be the only connection to the mainland.

Anna-Carin Nordin completed a 333 km stage swim around Öland, Sweden in 117 hours 5 minutes over 18 days that included 32 separate stage swims from shore to shore that started and finished on Färjestaden between 28 July 2020 and 14 August 2020.
