The 2nd Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere World Championships and the 3rd Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere German Open (or the Aqua Sphere Ice Swimming German Open Burghausen) will be held 5-8 January 2017 and is an extraordinary ice swimming challenge in Burghausen, Bavaria. The Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere World Championships is an ice swimming competition that is part of the global ice circuit, a series of ice swimming competitions around the world that adhere to the rules and regulations of the International Ice Swimming Association.

An ice-free competition pool at Wöhrsee, Burghausen in the shadows of the world’s longest castle.
