Jack Boyle

Jack Boyle is an Irish open water swimmer, coach and triathlete from Camlough. He won the 2016 Global Swim Series.

Ice Swimming[edit]

teamRIPTIDE[edit]

Boyle is a member of the 3-person relay team called teamRIPTIDE together with Michelle Brooker and Noel Grimes that became the first TRiO team to make the Dál Riata Channel Swim crossing. In June 2016, teamRIPTIDE started at the Mull of Kintyre, Scotland and made landfall south of Cushendun, Northern Ireland in 7 hours 44 minutes 21 seconds with support crew Milo McCourt and Afreen Ahmed and navigators Charles Stewart and Pádraig Mallon.

Tory Sound Swim[edit]

Boyle completed a 12 km Tory Sound Swim from Magheroarty on the Irish mainland to Tormore Point, Tory Island in Donegal, Ireland on 11 June 2016 in 3 hours 56 minutes, escorted by Infinity Channel Swimming together with John McElroy and Sabrina Wiedmer.
