Jelgava

Jelgava is a city in central Latvia about 41 kilometers southwest of Riga with about 63,000 inhabitants. It is the largest town in the region of Zemgale.

It is site of the International Winter Swimming Association World Cup Series (or IWSA World Cup or WSWC), a winter swimming competitive circuit organized by the International Winter Swimming Association, headed by chairperson Mariia Yrjö-Koskinen of Finland and co-organizer Aleksandr Jakovlevs of Latvia.is a 5-part winter swimming series.
