Jills Vanegas is an open water swimmer who has completed the 13.3 km prison island swim from Île Saint-Joseph to the French Guiana mainland three times including once on 18 February 2016 with Ned Denison and Jacques Tuset in 3 hours, 45 minutes; the swim was an historic first.
