John Starrett is a disabled American open water swimmer.
Open Water Swimming Career Highlights
- On 29 July 1963, he crossed the Northumberland Strait from New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island in Canada in 10 hours 45 minutes at the age of 39.
- On 4 August 1964, he crossed the English Channel from France to England in 12 hours 45 minutes, the first handicapped swimmer to successfully cross.
