John Walker

John Walker is an American open water swimmer from San Francisco, California and the South End Rowing Club with two Oceans Seven channels completed to date.

Open Water Swimming Career

• English Channel in 14 hours 13 minutes on 25 September 2013 with Eric Hartley as his pilot on the Pathfinder
• Catalina Channel in 12 hours 21 minutes with Greg Elliot on the Bottom Scratcher on 3 July 2013
• swam the length of Lake Tahoe in August 2013
• circumnavigation swim around Manhattan Island at the 2014 Manhattan Island Marathon Swim
• Tsugaru Channel attempt in 2015

Honors

Walker was nominated for 2013 Barra Award on the Marathon Swimmers Forum. He completed the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming on 28 June 2014.
