Lachlan Hinds is a 20-year-old Australian open water swimmer and a member of the Bondi Surf lifesaving club from Sydney who is the third youngest member of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming in history.

He was the winner of The Audrey Scott Award in 2012 for the youngest successful swimmer to cross the English Channel at the age of 16.
Open Water Swimming Career
- On 16 May 2010, he completed the 10 km South Head Roughwater Swim in 3 hours 40 minutes at the age of 14
- On 15 May 2011, he completed the 10 km South Head Roughwater Swim in 2 hours 32 minutes 48 seconds at the age of 15
- On 25 February 2012, he completed the 19.7 km Rottnest Channel Swim in 4 hours 51 minutes 56 seconds at the age of 16
- On 5 July 2012, he completed a crossing of the English Channel in 12 hours 32 minutes 32 seconds at the age of 16 under the auspices of the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation
- On 19 May 2013, he completed the 10 km South Head Roughwater Swim in 2 hours 16 minutes at the age of 17
- On 8 June 2013, he finished second in the 45.9 km Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 7 hours 20 minutes 15 seconds at the age of 17 where he swam his age
- In 2013, he completed the 10 km Balmoral Ocean Swim in 2 hours 28 minutes 40 seconds
- On 10 August 2014, he won the 28.1 km Ederle Swim in 4 hours 51 minutes 28 seconds
- On 6 August 2014, he completed a crossing of the 32.3 km Catalina Channel in 9 hours 31 minutes 36 seconds at the age of 18
- In 2014, he completed the 10 km Balmoral Ocean Swim in 2 hours 25 minutes 12 seconds
- On 20 August 2016, he completed the 12.9 km Boston Light Swim in 2 hours 38 minutes 15 seconds
Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming
- At the age of 16, he completed a English Channel crossing on 5 July 2012 in 12 hours 32 minutes
- At the age of 17, he completed the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim on 8 June 2013 in 7 hours 20 minutes
- At the age of 18, he completed a Catalina Channel crossing on 6 August 2014 in 9 hours 31 minutes
