Lake George is a large lake in Lake George Village, New York, called the Queen of American Lakes.
Open Water Swimming
- It was site of the U.S. Masters Swimming 6-9 Mile Open Water Swimming Championship that includes a 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km marathon swim on 23 August 2014, organized by Green Leaf Racing.
- It was site of the 24-mile (38.6 km) Lake George Marathon Swim, a professional marathon swim that was won by Edward Keating in over 19 hours over 140 other competitors from around the world.
