Open Water Swimming Career Highlights
- She completed a swim across Lake Tahoe at the age of 13 of 6 October 1963 swam in 13 hours 34 minutes. Her swim was 20.49 miles from Tahoe Keys to Kings Beach.
- She completed a crossing of the English Channel at the age of 14 years 3 months in 15 hours 27 minutes on 3 September 1964 from France to England.
- She attempted an early crossing from the Farallon Islands to the California mainland.
