Margaret White

Margaret White-Wrixon is a British open water swimmer who crossed the English Channel in 1961 as the youngest swimmer at 17 years 4 months. Her 15 hour 8 minute crossing was guided by escort pilot Captain Leonard Hutchinson on the Leigh on Sea from France to England under the auspices of the Channel Swimming Association.
