Mark Quinn

Mark Dennis Quinn is an American open water swimmer of Wilmington, Delaware.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

He competed in the 2nd annual Jim Whelan Open Water Festival and the 37 km 55th Around the Island Swim in New Jersey on 1 August 2021.
He finished the 45.9km 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan Island in 8 hours 33 minutes 36.75 seconds, completing the last leg of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
On 19 September 2017, he completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 14 hours 6 minutes at the age of 58, escorted by pilot Fred Mardle, observed by Jim Taylor.
On 20 August 2019, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel in 12 hours 45 minutes 40 seconds. Dan Simonelli was his crew chief. Ryan Rockenbach and Don Van Cleve were his CCSF observers.
