Mark Dennis Quinn is an American open water swimmer of Wilmington, Delaware.
Open Water Swimming Highlights
- He competed in the 2nd annual Jim Whelan Open Water Festival and the 37 km 55th Around the Island Swim in New Jersey on 1 August 2021.
- He finished the 45.9km 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan Island in 8 hours 33 minutes 36.75 seconds, completing the last leg of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
- On 19 September 2017, he completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 14 hours 6 minutes at the age of 58, escorted by pilot Fred Mardle, observed by Jim Taylor.
- On 20 August 2019, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel in 12 hours 45 minutes 40 seconds. Dan Simonelli was his crew chief. Ryan Rockenbach and Don Van Cleve were his CCSF observers.
