On 17 December 2016, he completed the 10 km Balmoral Ocean Swim in Australia in 3 hours 11 minutes 59 seconds.
On 25 February 2017, he completed the Rottnest Channel Swim in Western Australia in 9 hours 31 minutes 29 seconds.
He completed a crossing of the English Channel in 12 hours 45 minutes in 2017 and was awarded the Van Audenaerde Special Award, a Special Award to a Disabled Swimmer who crossed the English Channel by the Channel Swimming Association.
On 28 February 2022, he completed the 34 km Derwent River Big Swim in Tasmania, Australia in 10 hours 33 minutes 26 seconds at the age of 60.
