Michelle Premeaux McConica is a lifetime member of the Santa Barbara Channel Swimming Association (SBCSA).
She was part of the Selkie & the Sirens relay that completed the first circumnavigation swim around Santa Cruz Island on 27 September 2017 on 39 hours 58 minutes 12 seconds. The swimmers included Louise Darlington, Claudia Rose, Carol-lynn Swol, Diana Corbin and Jeannie Zappe.
