Nace Majcen is a former professional marathon swimmer from Slovenia and a swimming coach with the Rok Kerin Swim Academy, together with Rok Kerin, Severin Lipovšek, and Nina Gramc.

Open Water Swimming Highlights
- Majcen has over 20 years of world-class professional swimming career and has spent more than ten years as a swimming coach out of which eight years as the coach of the Slovenian national team in open water swimming.
- In his illustrious swimming career, he was a European champion in 25 km marathon swimming, 4th in the 1991 FINA World Championships in 25 km marathon swimming race, a participant in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, and a winner of multiple awards from the Mediterranean Games.
- Majcen was a pioneer in open water swimming in Yugoslavia and he participated in all major swimming marathons all over the world. His extensive swimming experiences are now being passed on to younger members of his own swimming club and while he is a cooperative assistant in the Rok Kerin Swim Academy's programmes and open water swimming programmes.
- He won the 19 km Jarak-Šabac Marathon Swim 4 separate times in the Sava River in Šabac, Serbia.
- On 10 January 1991, he finished 4th in the 25 km race at the FINA World Championships in Perth, Australia in 5 hours 13 minutes 8 seconds.
- On 11 January 1998, he finished 14th in the 25 km race at the FINA World Championships in Perth, Australia in 5 hours 33 minutes 52 seconds.
- He finished 3rd in the 38 km Maratón Acuática Internacional Miramar-Mar del Plata held along the coast of Argentina on 1 March 1998.
- In 1999, he finished 5th in the 57 km Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe - Coronda in the [[Río Coronda</a>, Argentina in 8:08:36.
- On 15 July 2000, he finished 16th in the 37 km Atlantic City Around The Island Swim in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA in 8 hours 30 minutes 31 seconds.
- On 22 July 2000, he finished 8th in the 42 km Traversee Internationale du lac Memphremagog in 9 hours 22 minutes 34 seconds.
- On 28 JUly 2000, he finished 9th in the 32 km Traversee Internationale du lac St-Jean in Roberval, Quebec, Canada in 6 hours 40 minutes 32 seconds.
- on 16 July 2001, he finished 13th in the 25 km race at the FINA World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan in 5 hours 40 minutes 24 seconds.
- On 28 July 2001, he finished 7th in the 32 km Traversee Internationale du lac St-Jean in Roberval, Quebec, Canada in 7 hours 41 minutes 21 seconds.
- He competed in the 16 km Faros Marathon Swim in Croatia in 4 September 1983, 4 September 1988, 3 September 1989, 1 September 1991, 6 September 1992, 5 September 1993, 3 September 1995, 30 August 1997, 28 August 1999, 26 August 2000, 25 August 2001, and 31 August 2002.
- On 10 August 1992, he competed in the Sylvan Lake World Series Marathon Swim in Alberta, Canada.

The Jarak-Šabac Marathon Swim is formally known as the Plivački maraton Jarak-Šabac ("Peace Race"), a professional 19 km marathon swimming competition held in the Sava River in Šabac, Serbia. The winners of the Jarak-Šabac Marathon Swim includes the following athletes:
