Nancy Steadman-Martin is an attorney based out of New York and an American open water swimmer from Oceanport, New Jersey.

- She is a board member of the Swim Free organization, one of the oldest successful swimmers of the English Channel and a member of the Half Century Club and the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
- She has completed numerous open water swims, both short and far, including the Ederle Swim in 2010 in 5 hours 26 minutes and in 2006 in 5 hours 53 minutes, Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 2003 in 8 hours 8 minutes, in 2009 in 7 hours 33 minutes, in 2007 in 9 hours 44 minutes, in 2000 in 9 hours 3 minutes, and in 1984 in 8 hours 8 minutes and with the Mighty Mermaids in 2009 in 7 hours 33 minutes.
- On 26 August 1984, she placed 6th in the 45.8 km Manhattan Island Marathon Swim finishing in 8 hours 8 minutes 20 seconds at the age of 30.
- On 17 June 2000, she placed 19th in the 45.8 km Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in New York finishing in 9 hours 3 minutes 18 seconds at the age of 46.
- On 14 June 2003, she placed 6th in the 45.8 km Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in New York finishing in 8 hours 8 minutes 0 seconds at the age of 48.
- On 10 August 2004, she crossed the English Channel from England to France in 11 hours 20 minutes 0 seconds at the age of 50.
