Natalia Chuich is a 55-year-old Russian open water swimmer from Moscow and member of the Half Century Club who serves as a Marathon Swimming Mentor.
Open Water Swimming Highlights
- In June 2018, she completed the 10 km Open Swim Stars Paris marathon swim in 3 hours 19 minutes 47 seconds.
- In June 2018, she completed the 15 km Oceanman Lago D’Orta in 4 hours 58 minutes 15 seconds.
- On 27 April 2019, she had the 17th fastest cumulative time of 18 hours 29 minutes 19.4 seconds in the 2019 SCAR Swim Challenge in Arizona.
- On 24 April she finished 25th overall in the 13.3 km Saguaro Lake stage swim of the 4-day SCAR Swim Challenge in Arizona in 4 hours 10 minutes 49.6 seconds.
- On 25 April she finished 19th overall in the 14.1 km Canyon Lake stage swim of the 4-day SCAR Swim Challenge in Arizona in 3 hours 46 minutes 29.7 seconds.
- On 26 April 2019, she finished 16th in the 22.8 km stage across Apache Lake on Day 3 of the 4-day S.C.A.R. Swim Challenge in Arizona in 6 hours 49 minutes 48.1 seconds.
- On 27 April 2019, she finished 21st in the 10 km stage across Roosevelt Lake on Day 4 of the 4-day S.C.A.R. Swim Challenge in Arizona in 3 hours 42 minutes 12.0 seconds.
- She finished 10th in the 45.9 km 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan Island in New York City held on 17 August 2019 in 8 hours 49 minutes 25 seconds at the age of 52 to join the Half Century Club.
- She completed the 13 km Lake Geneva Classic Swim from Lausanne, Switzerland to Evian, France in 4 hours 33 minutes.
- In June 2019, she completed 25.3 km Stage 6 of 8 Bridges in the Hudson River from Tappan Zee to George Washington Bridge in the USA in 4 hours 28 minutes 15 seconds.
- On 7 July 2019, she completed the 24 km Champions Cup Vetreno, Yaroslavl region in Russia.
- She completed a freshwater swim in The Rybinsk Sea and The Sit River (both swimming upstream and downstream) in 8 hours 21 minutes 10 seconds.
- She completed the 10 km Oceanman Moscow in Russia on 14 July 2019 in Pirogovskoye lake in 3 hours 24 minutes 57 seconds.
- She completed the 27 km Lago d’Orta Marathon Swim on 20 July 2019 in 9 hours 11 minutes 25 minutes.
- On 17 August 2019, she completed the 45.9 km 20 Bridges Manhattan Island circumnavigation in 8 hours 49 minutes 25 seconds.
- On 16 September 2019, she completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France under the auspices of the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation in 13 hours 55 minutes at the age of 52.
- On 19 February 2020, she completed a 7.4 km crossing from Robben Island to Blouberg Beach in South Africa in 3 hours 2 minutes.
- She completed the 12 km Champions’ Cup Vetreno Yaroslavl region Russia on 27 June 2020 in 4 hours 14 minutes 13 seconds.
- She finished 10th overall in the 4-day 66.9 km SCAR Swim Challenge in Arizona in 19 hours 40 minutes 30.2 seconds on 1 May 2021.
- On 29 July 2021, she achieved the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming with a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 19 hours 40 minutes.
- On 23 October 2022, she was the oldest bioprene female to cross the Strait of Gibraltar between Spain and Morocco, completing the 14.4 km crossing in 4 hours 42 minutes at the age of 55.
