Oa Channel

From Openwaterpedia
Oa Channel (between the Mull of Oa on the Isle of Islay and the Giants causeway)

The Oa Channel is the stretch of water between the Mull of Oa on the Isle of Islay and the Giants causeway.

The Oa (Scottish Gaelic: An Obha) is a rocky region in the southwest of Islay, in Argyll, Scotland. It is a nature reserve. The area is almost an island. Ireland can be seen from the south peninsula on a clear day.

  • across the Dál Riada Channel (between Mull of Kintyre and Cushendal / Torr Head)
