Open Water Swimming Dictionary
noun - The Open Water Dictionary was created by aquapreneur Steven Munatones in 2007 and is an English-language dictionary focused on terms and words used in the open water swimming community. The dictionary was first posted online in January 2008 and was used at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and translated into several languages. It was also used by NBC Olympics and USA Swimming.
The Open Water Dictionary includes the words, phrases, definitions, etymologies, synonyms and examples of numerous terms used in the sport of open water swimming. It was the precursor to Openwaterpedia.
