Paolo Arena

Paolo Arena is an escort boat pilot in the Strait of Messina, Italy. As the nephew of Giovanni Arena, the best known and most respected pilot in the Strait, he has held the helm during most of the recent swims across the Strait, including the record-setting swim completed by Andrea Fazio in 2015.
