Open Water Swimming Career
- She completed a crossing of the Catalina Channel on 40 August 1981 in 11 hours 16 minutes. She is recorded as the 42nd solo Catalina Channel Swimming Federation swimmer.
- She began the tradition of the Catalina Channel Rabbit's Foot when she presented the original good luck charm to Richard Marks for his 1981 Catalina Channel attempt. Those who have carried the Catalina Channel Rabbit's Foot have been successful.
- She won the the 10-mile ocean swim at the 1988 Seal Beach Rough Water Swim in Seal Beach, California.
