Pat Marzulli is a 69-year-old American open water swimmer from Tampa, Florida.

Open Water Swimming Career

  • On 22 April 2003, he finished 3rd in the 37 km Tampa Bay Marathon Swim in Florida in 12 hours 35 minutes 15 minutes at the age of 54.
  • On 13 June 2009, he finished 14th in the 20.1 FKCC Swim Around Key West in Florida in 6 hours 39 minutes 49 seconds at the age of 60.
  • On 18 June 2011, he finished 10th in the 20.1 km FKCC Swim Around Key West in Florida in 5 hours 25 minutes 23 seconds at the age of 62.
  • On 21 September 2014, he finished 17th in the 19.3 km Swim Around Charleston in South Carolina in 5 hours 34 minutes 52 seconds at the age of 65.
  • On 1 November 2014, he competed in the inaugural 7K Coquina Key Invitational.
  • On 12 April 2015, he finished 36th in the 11.2 km Swim Around Lido Key in Florida in 3 hours 25 minutes 39 seconds at the age of 66.
  • On 28 July 2015, he finished 3rd in the 45.9 km Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in New York City in 8 hours 59 minutes 28 seconds at the age of 66.
  • On 4 June 2016, he finished 46th in the 20.1 km Swim Around Key West in Florida in 5 hours 38 minutes 36 seconds at the age of 67.
  • On 5 November 2016, he finished 48th in the 10.2 Swim Fort De Soto in Florida in 3 hours 50 minutes 40 seconds at the age of 67.
  • On 22 April 2017, he finished 89th in the 11.2 km Swim Around Lido Key in Florida in 3 hours 37 minutes 27 seconds at the age of 68.
  • Between 25-28 April 2018, he attempted all four stage swims of the SCAR Swim Challenge in Arizona (9.5-mile or 15.2 km Saguaro Lake + 9-mile or 14.4 km Canyon Lake + 17-mile or 27.3 km Apache Lake + 6.2-mile or 10 km Roosevelt Lake), finishing two of them at the age of 69.
  • On 21 September 2018, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of Catalina Channel in 15 hours 29 minutes 12 seconds to become the oldest person to do so at 69 years 311 days old.
