Patrick Winkler is an aquapreneur, paddler, open water swimmer, radio host, and the publisher of a monthly magazine for the hard-core and new swimmer and swimming fan.

The Swim Channel Magazine

Winkler launched the SWIM Channel Magazine in 2010 with a laser focus on the Brazilian aquatics market, including the over 200 open water swims throughout the country. The SWIM Channel was voted the 2012 World Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year by a global poll.

Patrick, a former Speedo Marketing Manager and Arena Sales Manager, has a clearly demonstrated insight into the sport. His experience comes alive with the inside commentary and beautiful photography each month. He is also a member of the board of directors of the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame.

Winkler works with Daniel Takata and Guilherme Freitas on the Swim Channel. Swim Channel has a huge Facebook audience. They broadcast on radio every day and archive the programs on Sound Cloud. 365 days a year Winkler provides insightful commentary on swimming and swimmers. They also have a wildly successful blog and their signature media platform, the colorful magazine, the Swim Channel, was deservedly the 2012 World Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year.
