• He competed in the June 2018 22.17-mile Rock2Rock Paddle Race across the Catalina Channel from Two Harbors on Catalina Island to Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, California.
• He competed in the 2022 Waikiki Roughwater Swim in Hawaii, finishing 3rd in the 45-49 age division.
• He competed in the 2017 Waikiki Roughwater Swim in Hawaii, finishing 2nd in the 40-44 age division.
• He competed in the Dwight Crum Pier to Pier Swim in Hermosa Beach, California many times.
• He finished second in his age group and 14th overall in the 2016 7 km Possibly Annual Looong Distance Swim held in Waikiki Beach on Oahu in 2 hours 9 minutes 26 seconds.
• He finished second in this age group and 8th overall in the 7 km 7 km Possibly Annual Hawaii Christmas Looong Distance Invitation Rough-H2O Swim on 28 October 2017 from San Souci Beach to Ala Wai Channel to San Souci Beach on Oahu in 2 hours 14 minutes.
• He finished 9th overall in the 5-mile St. Croix Coral Reef Swim in 2017.
• He completed the 10 km El Cruce marathon swim in Cancun, Mexico in 2017.
• He finished first in his age group and 9th overall in the 2018 7 km Possibly Annual Looong Distance Swim held in Waikiki Beach on Oahu in 1 hours 53 minutes.
• He finished fourth in his age group of 40-44 years in the 10 km El Cruce marathon swim in Cancun, Mexico in 2018 in 2 hours 14 minutes.
• He finished 6th in the Naples Island Swims 1-mile race in Long Beach, California in 2017.
• He finished second in his 40-44 age division at the 2.4-mile Tiki Swim in California in 2017.
• He finished second in his age group of 40-44 years and 26th overall in the 6.5 km Cross-Continental Bosphorus Swim in Istanbul, Turkey on 22 July 2018.
• He swam the three channels between Maui, Lanai and Molokai in Hawaii on three successive days during the first week of September 2018, in the Au I Na Mokupuni Ekolu Endurance Challenge Invitational:
  • Day One: from Maui to Lana’i across the Au’au Channel in 6 hours 6 minutes
  • Day Two: from Maui to Moloka’i across the Pailolo Channel in 5 hours 52 minutes
  • Day Three: from Moloka’i to Lana’i across the Kalohi Channel in 5 hours 34 minutes
• He swam the three channels between Maui, Lanai and Molokai in Hawaii on three successive days on 12-15 September 2019 in the Au I Na Mokupuni Ekolu Endurance Challenge Invitational:
  • Day One across the 14.9 km Kalohi Channel between Lanai and Molokai in 6 hours 4 minutes 40 seconds
  • Day Two across the 13.5 km Pailolo Channel between Maui and Molokai in 5 hours 50 minutes 10 seconds
  • Day Three across the 14.1 km Auau Channel between Lanai and [[Maui in 7 hours 47 minutes
