On 23 February 2019, he completed the 19.7 km Rottnest Channel Swim in 8 hours 59 minutes.
On 22 February 2020, he completed the 19.7 km Rottnest Channel Swim in 9 hours 9 minutes.
On 2 February 2022, he completed the 34 km Derwent River Big Swim in Tasmania, Australia in 9 hours 27 minutes at the age of 66.
11 September 2022, he completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 15 hours 24 minutes at the age of 66.
On 13 April 2024, he completed the 24 km Palm to Shelly Beach marathon swim in 9 hours 30 minutes.
On 22 August 2024, he completed the 45.9 km 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan Island in New York City in 8 hours 39 minutes at the age of 68.
In summer 2026, he will attempt to cross the 32.3 km Catalina Channel at the age of 70 to become the oldest person to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
